We decided to be different and bought tickets to watch The Constant Gardener amongst all other movies on the list. The synopsis sounded interesting and honestly it is the kind of book/movie I would enjoy - the "who-dun-it" type.
The movie lasted about 2 hours and in those 2 hours I really suffered. The cause? The movie was shot as if the camera man was on foot, hoisting the camera on his shoulder, while he/she hobbled along. The scenes were kinda bouncy and switched panes too many times. I felt awfully ill and wished the movie ended quickly. At some points, I closed my eyes and tried to fall asleep to nurse that churning feeling in my stomach and groggy head.
The plot was OK but definitely too draggy and gave you way too much time to guess who did it and why. So might as well snap right to the point and be done with the suspense.
If anyone wishes to watch this, just have a strong tolerance for a lot of motion disorientation as well as patience to sit through it all.
