Was out having a pleasant evening with friends over dinner and drinks last night. Then I started developing a slight headache but it was bearable. We continued chatting and it came to a point I really needed to get home to bed (or at least to get hold of an aspirin).

Thankfully I could still fall asleep amidst the pounding in my head. But at 4 a.m. I woke up because of the much increased pounding. This time I felt like my head was being hammered!

I swallowed some more aspirin and continued lying there, awake and unable to move. My head felt like a heavyweight, anchored down to my pillow. Not sure what time I eventually went back to sleep.

But I'm awake and alive now, headache's gone (hopefully for good at least for the next 2 days)...so let the weekend begin! =)

The next time u have a ounding headache do drink more water. IT will be faster and easier than taking an aspirin.

Another tip.....between ur thumb and forefinger, there's a web like thingy right ? use ur other thumb and find the joint where the 2 bones meet. Slightly infront of the bone towards ur thumb, there's a nerve. Press hard on the nerve and it will subside ur pounding. Hold hard for at least 2 minutes.

Hmm, must have been our talks during dinner and drinks? Hope that weekend was "pounding" free?
