95% of the time, I trash out hypermarkets' promotion leaflets put into my mailbox, without looking at them. Last night I was clearing up my pile of mails and tossed aside Carrefour's leaflet.

Later, while my TV show took a commercial break, I picked up the leaflet and flipped.

Nothing in the grocery, toiletries and garment sections caught my eye. The 1-pager that did was the gadgets page.

A 1GB pendrive now costs RM135. Some years back, I bought my first pendrive of 128MB for RM120 and thought it was a steal. How the times have changed.

Not only are computer related peripherals are dropping in prices, but the digital camera market is getting stiff too. Look at these.

If you don't mind the brand, this is very affordable camera at RM299 and it goes up to 6.6 mega pixel! For fellow bloggers who never leave home without a camera so that you have snapshots for your posts, this is definitely a good deal.

If you are particular about brands or at least a brand that is heard of, then these Samsung and Kodak ones are pretty cheap and cheerful too.





Now that this has caught my attention, maybe future leaflets won't go straight to the trash. And, by the way, I'm not working for Carrefour. Just thought the deals are worth sharing :)
