First class service

When I was in the last two weeks of pregnancy, I wanted so badly to go for one more round of facial before I headed to the delivery room. I just wanted to be pampered. So I made my appointment. But on that very day, I was admitted to the hospital. I thought that was THE DAY, alas it was just a false alarm. So I rescheduled my facial when I got home. I never made it to the new appointment either. Two days before, the baby came for real.

Yesterday, my beautician SMSed to ask if I wanted to go over for my long postponed facial. I told her I couldn't because I was home alone and no one to look after my baby. She said to bring him along, her two partners will look after him. She even volunteered to come fetch me!

This sounded like an offer I couldn't resist. So I quickly packed baby's stuff and pram and we waited to be picked up. When we got there, my little boy was spoilt for a good few hours being carried, played with, cooed at, cuddled and fed. In return, he charmed the ladies by attempting to "talk" with them and offering lots of smiles. I think he had more pampering than me in the end!

Anyway, this is certainly the first time I've had such great, extended service. I think the baby agrees. If he could speak, I think he would encourage me to go more frequently!
