Maxis sucks!

I'm so angry that I'm a Maxis user. Maxis simply sucks!

Half a month ago, I paid my bill online via my bank's bill payment service. This morning, I discovered that my phone line was barred. I called to check what was going on and I was told by Customer Service that I haven't made any payment. I explained that I did and though they sent me around to get my transaction referral code to them, I did without much complaint.

Several calls to the bank and back to Maxis, Customer Service told me they'll unblock my line within an hour. That was fine by me.

I was busy for most of the day and I received SMS-es and calls like usual, which made me forget the fact that my phone line was down because I was still very much in communication. I just wasn't the one to initiate the call or text message.

At around 5.30pm, I picked up my phone to make a call and was surprised that my line was still blocked! Pissed, I called Maxis again and almost yelled at them. This time they passed me directly to their Payment division because these fellas are the ones who supposedly have the authority to unblock lines. It took them 8 hours to do what should've been accomplished in under an hour.

Oh, surprisingly, they didn't send me one of those survey SMS to ask how I would rate their service after those phone calls. I would've loved to respond to give them my honest feedback. But then again, I'm guessing it'll go unnoticed. People only listen to what they want to hear and ignore anything that's negative, right?

One day, I will quit Maxis...I can't now because it's a darn corporate account!

Thanks for telling me. I think I shouldn't start paying Maxis bills online.. just in case.

if you have better alternatives that have been working, i suggest you stick to them :)

Since 1995, I've used all our local mobile operators. You name it : Mobikom 018, Adam 017, Celcom 019 etc. All of them SUCKS ! However, I've not try Digi 016 yet. Maybe in the near future...

Hey eternity, i am so pissed off at Maxis at the moment i just had to google 'Maxis sucks', and you're third in the list! Anyway can't remember reading this post of yours and it's been more than a year now, but guess what, Maxis sucks even more ever. It's such a long frustrating story i don't even wanna bore you with the details. And this is just for my wired broadband, grrrr (so glad i have digi for my mobile services).

On the bright side, it's nice to come back and read your blog again :).
