Natural wonders of Japan

Tuesday, January 22, 2008

In my earlier post on Japan, I forgot to include some amazing natural wonders of Japan. Enjoy!

The oranges on this tree are really huge. We saw this lone-ranger orange tree in a temple.

Look at how many fruits are growing on just one tree!

This is an endangered species bear called Kuma. Very intelligent creatures. They wave at you to get you to throw them biscuits and apples.

This is a hotspring mountain. I wonder why the snow doesn't melt with such heat underneath.

The yellowish stuff is actually sulfur found at the hotspring mountain. It really stinks!

I love how these trees stand so majestically fresh and green against the backdrop of mountains in the back.

We saw some very beautiful tulips. Reminds me of Keukenhof Garden in Holland.

Anyone care to guess how much these pumpkins weigh? I've never seen such huge ones!

This is a transparent fish with a bright orange on the inside of its body. Amazing, huh?
