Home run in record time

Wednesday, December 07, 2005

Little things can give you great pleasure. Yesterday, for example, I had the fastest ride home since I’ve been working in the city and I was so delighted that I got home much earlier. Normally I take about an hour to get home on a 17k.m. drive. On good days I can make it in 45 minutes. And on the worst of days it’s about 1.5 hours. Yesterday, however, it took me only 35 minutes and by far is a record time.

SA, if you are reading this: of all the days that you decide to take the train, don’t you regret being crushed like sardine in the LRT instead of driving yesterday??? :P

SA's response:
very funny......

u know wat, from yesterday's experience, I swear I'm not taking the train again...

u don't save much, u got to stand all the way back, it's stuffy, u still reach home late, ur tired at the end of the day... man, seriously, ur worse off

now i appreciate the comfort of sitting in ur driver's seat, full blast air-conditioning in ur face and the sweet melody of J-Lo's voice on the air.............man, I love driving in the traffic :)

fyi, i drove to work today
