Blogging for money

It's been some time now that I've heard about lots of bloggers who monetize their blogs. I never gave much thought about it but was curious enough to find out more. After surfing about and asking some blogger friends about it, I was quite amazed at how much some bloggers get paid to blog.

All this while I've been ignorant about this and thought that people only made money from their blogs through blog advertising by way of banner advertisements. I suppose with the power of search engines, people have found a new way to advertise on blogs by having people write about products and services rather than just putting banners and waiting for clicks.

Anyway, for people who love writing and have the time to spare, it's not a bad idea at all to blog for money. Who wouldn't welcome some extra pocket money every once in a while? Lots of bloggers are already on the bandwagon, will you hop onto it too?
