Waiting for price hikes

We're now almost into the 3rd week of 2008. What's the highlight of 2008 for us Malaysians? I could only think of one thing - price hikes! I suspect everything is going to be more expensive with the impending increments in fuel and electricity prices. Not to mention toll rates too. Food prices would most likely be the first to go up as an effect of all these hikes.

Unfortunately, our salaries do not increase at the same rate. It's sad, isn't it? How do we keep up if our expenses are growing faster than our incomes? This is where payday loans would come in useful where it helps to pull you through the month till your next pay check.

We currently don't have such loans in our country, but with rising prices soon to come, who knows, the banks might just find a good market for it. It'll probably be real popular come festive seasons too!
